Job summary

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in business or related area, student teaching experience, and a valid South Carolina teaching license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, business education or related area with student teaching experience.
• Or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supports and upholds the mission, vision and strategic goals of Lexington County School District One towards increased outcomes for students.
• Designs and facilitates engaging, high level, sophisticated learning experiences and applications appropriate to prepare students for a 21st century global, knowledge-based economy.
• Teaches concepts and skills in keyboarding, office procedures, merchandising, business communications, image editing, multimedia, business law, accounting, marketing and other basic business concepts.
• Prepares lesson plans, daily and weekly activity plans, assessments, material requisitions and discipline reports.
