Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort in Hot Springs, Arkansas, seeks a Bartender to serve guests at front bars and fulfill dining room drink orders, manage the cash drawer, and assist with inventory.

The ideal candidate is at least 21 years old, has beverage service experience in high-volume settings, and preferably casino experience. Strong guest service, multitasking, and diplomacy are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• One or more years’ beverage service in a high-volume, fast-paced environment required; nightclub experience preferred.
• Casino experience preferred.
• One or more years’ guest service experience required.
• Must be able to handle several projects and tasks at the same time.
• Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.

Responsibilities

• Serve guests at front bars and fulfill drink orders for the dining room.
• Monitor the cash drawer at the bar and perform alcohol inventories at end of night.
• Provide friendly, professional service and promote company standards.
• Greet and seat guests, present menus, inform about promotions and specials.
• Ensure bar is stocked and assist with opening/closing checklists.
• Operate POS system and manage cash accurately.
