Job summary

Margaritaville Resort Casino - Bossier City, La. is seeking an experienced bartender to provide wine, liquor, and related bar services in a dynamic casino environment.

You will ring drinks in the POS, mix drinks per recipes, and keep the bar stocked while ensuring strong cash handling and customer service standards. The role requires at least one year of bartending experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and possession of Bossier ABO and LACT licenses.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum one year of experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment.
• Must obtain Bossier ABO and LACT.
• Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Must have cash handling experience.
• Ability to share or divide attention among several ongoing activities, projects, or assignments.
• Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.
• Ability to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, and bright lights.
• Ability to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment.
• Ability to stand, lift, walk, bend, and stoop throughout duration of shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide wine, liquor, and related bar service to guests and cocktail servers at assigned stations.
• Ring all drinks into the POS system.
• Mix drinks according to recipes.
• Keep the station stocked with all liquor, glasses, and accessories necessary.
• Maintain integrity of financial controls and responsibilities; balance cash drawer, credit charges, and tips.
• Provide fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service to guests.
• Maintain cleanliness of designated area.
• Ice and fill all non-alcoholic drinks for servers.
• Provide work direction to assigned bar attendants.
