Job summary

42North Dental in the United States seeks a full-time Associate Dentist to manage the entire clinical patient experience from initial exam and treatment plan to delivery of care. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The Dentist will diagnose, educate patients on options, create and review treatment plans, and maintain accurate medical and dental records while upholding the highest standards of ethics and professionalism.

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Licensed to practice dentistry in the respective state.
• Vaccination documentation for Hepatitis B.
• Malpractice insurance proof.
• BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral Diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality of care and ethics.
• Keep up with new developments through continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA accredited program

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
