Job summary

This full-time on-site role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs; opportunity to lead a team and support store performance.

• Experience managing retail, grocery, or drug store teams preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent movement.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of store fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and handling damaged goods; payroll, scheduling, cash deposits.
• Maintain organized sales floor and stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure associates follow procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe environment with professional interactions.
• Keep the store clean, restocked, and presentable; manage bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
