Job summary

Bethel School District 403 is seeking an Assistant Girls Basketball Coach for the 2026-27 school year. This role requires enthusiasm for athletics, knowledge of fundamentals, and willingness to participate in all related activities at Cedarcrest Middle.

Applicants must be able to model appropriate behavior and support the district's athletic program. Qualified candidates will have coaching experience, current First Aid/CPR, and be prepared to complete required health trainings and a district

Qualifications

Enthusiasm for athletics and willingness to participate in related activities.
Demonstrates knowledge of sports fundamentals and ability to coach.
Organizational and motivational skills are required.
Must model professional behavior per Coaches Handbook.
Successful coaching experience and training over multiple years.
Must be willing to support the total athletic program.
Current First Aid and CPR card required.
Attend Hepatitis B and HIV training and vaccination if needed; complete district harassment training.
Fingerprinted for a background check if recommended for hire.
Head coaches must be 21+, assistant coaches 19+ per WIAA; classroom teacher preferred but not required.
