Job summary

LEGENDS Global in Stockton, CA is seeking an Assistant Event Operations Manager to coordinate with the Event Operations & Security Manager. You will oversee front and back-of-house operations, supervise staff, and ensure events run smoothly.

The role requires strong leadership, a Bachelor’s degree and two years of related experience; CAD and Adobe Illustrator experience are preferred. You may work long hours including weekends and holidays, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university and two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CAD and Adobe Illustrator experience preferred.
• Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of facility operations: front and back-of-house, preventive maintenance, third-party contracting, staffing, venue setup/tear-down at all Stockton Complex Venues.
• Hire, train and supervise full time, part-time and temporary staff.
• Direct, supervise and schedule all aspects of operations, including buildings; technical services; event services; public safety; security; and custodial services.
• Coordinate operations with other building departments and show-related contractors.
• Implement facility rules, regulation policies and procedures.
• Anticipate problems and provide appropriate solutions; investigate and resolve operational problems and complaints.
• Provide clear, concise communication of directives to other departments.
• Ensure operations department receives pertinent information for effective facility use and staffing.
• Inputting Purchase Requisitions; maintain Master MSDS log.
• Other duties as assigned.
