Job summary

Legrand is seeking an Assembly Technician I in Reno, NV to join the Data, Power and Control Team. You will work with a team to assemble products or components, perform routine tasks in the assembly process, and rotate through duties per instructions.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, up to 6 months assembly experience, and basic soldering and wiring skills. The role emphasizes safety, ISO compliance, and accurate documentation in Vantage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; electronics coursework preferred.
• Minimum 6 months assembly experience; 1 year for Technician II preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules and operating instructions; basic soldering skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform routine tasks in Cord Prep, Wire Prep, Packaging, and Production
• Follow procedures to produce consistent, high-quality products expediently
• Log in and out of jobs and view build instructions in Vantage
• Perform simple, repetitive bench assembly and proper crimping/cabling
• Maintain clean, safe work area and report safety concerns; comply with ISO procedures
