Valley Services Electronics is hiring for a cable harness production role in Reno, NV. The incumbent will perform all production activities of the cable harness electro-mechanical assembly area, following BOMs, prints, and work instructions to build, label, and test cable harnesses.

Responsibilities include assembling per drawings, cleaning assemblies, and using hand tools, soldering to IPC 610 standards, and operating testing equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; must be highly dependable with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Minimum 2 yrs. experience in Cable Harness assembly.
• Ability to count accurately; read/interpret documents; basic computer skills; IPC-610 experience desirable.

Responsabilités

• Responsible for all production activities of the cable harness electro-mechanical assembly area.
• Pull kits with assigned work order number from staging shelf and identify components per BOM.
• Assemble cable harnesses using assemblies drawings, BOM, and print with attention to detail.
• Machine or hand clean assemblies as needed.
• Work with cable harnesses, label printers, hand/electrical tools, soldering per IPC 610 standards, testing equipment, press fit, and box build.
