Job summary

Qualifications

• Earned Bachelor’s degree with 30 semester hours in Biology, Clinical Lab Science, or a related field.
• Lab preparation experience, including preparing and maintaining media and bacterial cultures.
• Experience using and maintaining microscopes and autoclaves; inventory and ordering experience.
• Clinical lab employment experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials and equipment for hands-on student use in laboratory settings.
• Demonstrate proper use and safe handling of laboratory equipment and resources.
• Supervise and support student workers.
• Respect student rights and promote access to educational opportunities.
• Support and participate in student activities.
• Prepare, maintain, and inventory laboratory supplies, equipment, and facilities.
• Participate in accreditation, assessment, and performance funding processes.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues.
