Job summary

The Archdiocese of Seattle Catholic Schools is seeking a part-time Extended Day Program Director for the 2026-2027 school year. The role involves fulfilling administrative and staffing needs for an after-school program for students in grades K-8.

Responsibilities include hiring staff, overseeing student behavior, and maintaining a safe and enriching environment. The position offers an hourly rate of $22-$25, with specific hours from 2:50 pm to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience in a classroom is preferred (i.e. paraprofessional, teacher's aide, classroom teacher).
• Prior experience in a related position working with children.
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certification (certification will be provided if needed).
• Background Check and VIRTUS course (provided upon hire).
• Practicing Catholic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hiring and managing all Extended Day Program Staff.
• Maintains an environment that promotes cooperation, learning, and enjoyment.
• Assists students on nightly homework and oversees student behavior.
• Compiles attendance data for tracking and billing.
• Creates communication with parents, teachers, and principal.
