Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in chemistry, physical science, or physics (or qualifying field) from a regionally accredited institution by the application date.
• Minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in a qualifying field from a regionally accredited college or university by the application date.
• Doctoral degree in discipline and three years CC teaching experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses as assigned in accordance with catalog descriptions and approved syllabi.
• Teach dual enrollment classes at area high schools as assigned.
• Travel to multiple campuses as assigned.
• Collaborate with faculty and leadership on curricular/programmatic issues and needs.
• Support students and academic operations in alignment with the college's goals.
• Teach up to 12 credit hours per semester; maintain availability to meet with students.
