Job summary

Alverno College is seeking a part-time Nursing Instructor to teach Mesa, AZ nursing students in classroom, lab, acute care, or community health environments. The schedule will include teaching one or two days a week, plus reviewing student work and providing feedback.

Experience in clinical supervision or nursing education is preferred. A current Arizona RN license or compact license with AZ privilege to practice is required.

Qualifications

• Most assignments require a master’s degree or active enrollment in an MSN program.
• PhD is preferred.
• A BSN may be considered depending on the alignment of the candidate’s clinical experience and the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Teach nursing students in classroom, lab, acute care, or community health environments.
• Teach one or two days a week and review student work, providing feedback.
