Job summary

Colorado Mountain College seeks adjunct faculty members to assist students across multiple programs, using modern educational technologies and resources. Candidates should be credentialed or eligible to teach in the specified program, with a master’s degree in the related field or 18 graduate credits, and at least one year of teaching experience.

Ideal applicants will have strong computer/tech skills, organizational abilities, and excellent communication. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in related field or master’s with 18 graduate credits in related field.
• Minimum of one-year full-time teaching experience, or the equivalent as an adjunct instructor.
• Higher education teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses as assigned by the supervisor.
• Prepare lesson plans aligned with course objectives.
• Develop and submit course outlines and syllabi.
• Assist with development of measurable course objectives and plans.
• Maintain professional relationships with students & staff.
• Engage in advising, orientation and registration activities.
• Participate in assessment, program review and other scholarly activities.
• Promote the college’s public image and uphold safety and compliance policies.
