Job summary

Qualifications

• Activity certification preferred
• Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care is a plus

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead engaging activities including live entertainment and off-site day trips that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being for residents
• Develop individualized activity plans that cater to residents with dementia or other cognitive impairments
• Collaborate with staff to ensure activities align with residents' preferences and abilities
• Manage schedules for group activities while accommodating individual needs and preferences
• Facilitate recreational therapy sessions aimed at enhancing residents' quality of life
• Maintain accurate records of participation and outcomes related to activities
• Duties as assigned
