Job summary

Majestic Care of Toledo is seeking an Activities Assistant to join our compassionate care team and enrich resident life through engaging programs.

You will organize and participate in one-to-one and group activities, coordinate monthly calendars, decorate for events, and maintain activity records while supporting therapy models like music, art, and pet therapy. Join a team that values love, respect, and community in everyday care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Activity Assistant Certification preferred.
• CNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the environment to provide both comfort and stimulation to the resident population.
• Foster a sense of community within the community environment.
• Lead and participate in individual and group activities.
• Utilize a variety of models to achieve individualized programming such as pet therapy, music therapy, art therapy, etc.
• Assist with decorating the facility and preparing for special events and seasonal parties.
• Develop and post monthly calendar as a planning resource for residents and families.
• Participate in recreational programs for residents confined to their rooms.
• Promote volunteer efforts in the community.
• Maintain records of activities and attendance.

Education
