Qualifications

• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates teaching skills and knowledge in assigned academic area, using district course of study.
• Instructs pupils in basic subjects per state law and district regulations.
• Develops lesson plans and materials; provides individualized and small-group instruction.
• Prepares schedules, lesson plans and seating charts for guest teachers.
• Evaluates pupil growth and maintains records; prepares progress reports.
• Establishes communication with students and parents on a regular basis.
• Diagnoses pupil needs and selects appropriate instructional methods.
• Maintains a conducive learning environment with displays and organized spaces.
• Maintains professional competence through ongoing training and staff meetings.
