The teacher will deliver standards-based instruction, collaborate with support staff, monitor student progress, and maintain classroom management aligned with district policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and Texas teacher certification required.
• Must meet Highly Qualified status.
• ESL Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Implements research-based instructional strategies to promote student achievement.
• Delivers differentiated instructional activities according to student needs.
• Designs engaging, standards-based lesson plans.
• Implements district curriculum as articulated in documents.
• Maintains a classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Collaborates with ESL, SpEd, TAG, RTI teams to support at-risk students.
• Maintains data-based documentation of student progress during interventions.
• Provides timely feedback on student assignments and performance.
• Maintains confidentiality of student information.
• Performs other duties as assigned by administrators.
