ACCEL Schools is hiring a highly qualified 6th-8th Grade Math Teacher for Broadway Academy at Mount Pleasant in Cleveland, Ohio. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, differentiate instruction, and monitor student progress to support academic and social-emotional growth.

We seek educators with an active Ohio teaching license in the relevant content area, a bachelor’s degree in education, and a commitment to equity and high expectations in a growth-focused coaching environment.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio teaching license in appropriate content area.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• Experience in growth-focused coaching with frequent observations, debriefs, action planning, and progress monitoring.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to pass federal and state background checks.
• Experience working in urban environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans with the ability to modify accordingly during the school year.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of students’ progress and development.
• Utilize research-based best practices in daily planning and classroom instruction.
• Manage student behavior in the classroom.
• Create a positive classroom environment for students to learn in.
• Incorporate technology skills into daily classroom practice to support learning.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
