Job summary

Evers Park Elementary is seeking a 5th grade teacher to foster a dynamic and engaging learning environment aligned with district standards. The teacher will design instruction, integrate technology, and use data to tailor lessons.

Collaboration with staff, supervision of aides, and commitment to student growth are essential. Qualifications include a Texas teaching certificate, a bachelor’s degree, and ESL certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or training for the subject and level assigned.
• ESL certification preferred or ability to obtain ESL within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum and TEA guidelines.
• Deliver engaging instruction using strategies addressing diverse learning styles.
• Collaborate with teachers to modify curricula and provide accommodations (IEPs).
• Supervise instructional aides and volunteers to support student learning.
• Maintain accurate records of student achievement, attendance, and grades.
