ACCEL Schools' Riverside Academy in Cincinnati, Ohio is hiring a dedicated 3rd Grade Teacher to bring the curriculum to life and foster a positive, socially-emotionally aware classroom. The role requires an active Ohio teaching license, a bachelor’s degree in education, and the ability to differentiate instruction, maintain records, and engage families.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio teaching license in the appropriate content area.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• Experience working within an urban environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to pass federal and state background checks.
• Ability to supervise students in various school settings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans and modify accordingly during the school year.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.
• Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and development.
• Utilize research-based best practices in daily planning and classroom instruction.
• Manage student behavior in the classroom.
• Create a positive classroom environment for students to learn in.
• Incorporate technology skills into daily classroom practice to support learning.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
