Job summary

Metalcraft of Mayville Fall River, Wisconsin is seeking a 1st Shift Material Handler to support the distribution center operations in Fall River. The role reports to the Distribution Center manager and covers shipping/receiving/picking/packing and cycle count, with varied tasks and responsibilities.

Responsibilities include moving materials with forklift/stand up picker, performing daily forklift inspections, and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 2 years of forklift experience in a warehouse.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to move all sizes of objects.

Responsibilities

• Loads, unloads, and moves materials within the distribution center.
• Loads and unloads materials from racking, floor, trucks, etc.
• Operates forklift and stand up picker to move materials and products.
• Required to fill out a daily inspection before starting the forklift.
• Assists with routine housekeeping per the 6S plan.
• Ensures compliance with corporate and plant safety standards.
