Job summary

Caravel Autism Health, LLC is hiring an Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in Dyer, Indiana. You will work one-on-one with children under 6 using play-based ABA therapy to help build communication, independence, social, and daily living skills.

This role emphasizes collaboration with BCBAs, ongoing training, and documenting progress to support meaningful outcomes for each child and family.

What you'll do:

You'll work 1-on-1 with children under 6 years old who have a diagnosis of autism, using play-based ABA therapy to help them build communication, independence, social, and daily living skills.

• Use your RBT expertise to create meaningful learning opportunities through play and connection
• Partner closely with BCBAs who provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and support
• Celebrate, document, and contribute to meaningful progress for every child
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and teammates
• Continue developing your clinical skills through ongoing training and feedback

What we're looking for

• Resilience and compassion, especially on the tough days
• Physical readiness for the role: pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 35 pounds; sitting on the floor, stooping, standing, walking, and moving quickly alongside kids when needed

What we offer

• Pay: $18.24 to $31.05 per hour based on experience
• Hours: Monday through Friday- regular schedule during the hours of 7:30am to 4:30pm with the occasional Saturday
