Job summary

Valdese Weavers LLC in Valdese, NC is seeking a Dye House Operator to ensure proper mixture of dyes and chemicals for production lines. This role requires attention to detail, strong measurement skills, and adherence to safety standards.

The position includes shift premiums on 2nd and 3rd shifts, plus an attendance bonus, with opportunities for overtime. You will work with a team to meet production quotas while maintaining quality.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills with the ability to work well with others.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• Previous Dye House, drugroom, or machine operator experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper mixture of dyes and chemicals according to procedures.
• Weigh and mix dyes and chemicals correctly in mixing tanks.
• Stage dyes and chemicals for timely addition to production machines.
• Open new drums of dyes and chemicals as needed per shift.
• Refill dry chemical bins and clean mixing tanks as required.
• Maintain safety and wear PPE according to MSDS guidelines.
