Job summary

Valdese Weavers LLC is a long-established, employee-owned textile producer in the United States. This role focuses on replacing warp on looms, keeping looms clean, and ensuring warp patterns are correctly set. A shift premium exists for 2nd and 3rd shifts, along with a biweekly attendance bonus.

The job requires basic reading, writing, and math, good color vision, and teamwork. High school diploma is preferred as part of the qualifications.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Ability to distinguish color differences in warp yarns.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• High school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lease loom for new or different reed as needed.
• Clean loom and harness on bottom warp outs.
• Place warp in tie frame and tie.
• Retie warps with three or more ends crossed.
• Keep tie frames clean and properly maintained.
• Pull tied warps over and start loom with correct pattern.
• Report to warp replacement lead for next assignment.
