  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate and monitor dye range and finishing equipment per production schedules.
  • Prepare and mix dyes and chemicals according to formulas and work instructions.
  • Load and unload fabric rolls onto dye range and maintain material flow.
  • Monitor machine settings, temperatures, chemical levels and line speeds for quality.
  • Inspect fabric for color consistency, defects and overall quality during dyeing.
  • Make adjustments to machine settings to meet specs.
  • Record production data, process parameters and quality results accurately.
  • Perform routine cleaning, preventative maintenance and minor troubleshooting.
  • Communicate equipment issues, quality concerns and delays to supervisors.
  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment following SOPs.

Job Title: Dye & Range Operator

Pay: $15-$20 DOE

Job Summary: We are seeking a dependable Dye & Range Operator to operate and monitor dyeing and finishing equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for ensuring fabrics are processed according to production specifications while maintaining quality, efficiency, and safety standards.

Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and monitor dye range and finishing equipment according to production schedules.
  • Prepare and mix dyes and chemicals following established formulas and work instructions.
  • Load and unload fabric rolls onto the dye range while ensuring proper material flow.
  • Monitor machine settings, temperatures, chemical levels, and line speeds to achieve quality standards.
  • Inspect fabric throughout the dyeing process for color consistency, defects, and overall quality.
  • Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain product specifications.
  • Record production data, process parameters, and quality results accurately.
  • Perform routine machine cleaning, preventative maintenance, and minor troubleshooting.
  • Communicate equipment issues, quality concerns, and production delays to supervisors.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company safety procedures.
  • Work closely with Quality and Production teams to meet customer specifications and production goals.
  • Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and environmental guidelines for handling dyes and chemicals.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous experience operating dyeing, textile, coating, or manufacturing equipment is preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot production equipment.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions, production orders, and safety procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify color variations and product defects.
  • Basic computer skills for production reporting and documentation.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work overtime and various shifts as needed.
