Job summary

Mohawk Industries, a Fortune 500 global flooring leader, is seeking a Dyeing Operator to support our Dalton, GA plant. The role focuses on maintaining dyeing operations, monitoring equipment, and ensuring product quality while adhering to safety and SOP standards.

This position requires attention to detail and the ability to work with standard operating procedures on all shifts. As part of Mohawk's manufacturing team, you will participate in training and ongoing process improvements,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–6 months related experience in dyeing preferred.
• Health and environmental safety training completed.
• Ability to perform basic math and read standard English.

Responsibilities

• Identify tank runs and ensure smooth operation.
• Verify filters are clean and perform cleaning as needed.
• Monitor PLCs, computer screens and set points.
• Adjust dye line speeds as needed to maintain quality.
• Ensure J boxes have enough product for continuous run.
• Watch carpet for printing defects and address as needed.
• Monitor dyeing schedule for changes and adjustments.
• Attend training as deemed necessary by supervision.
• Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Perform general housekeeping and cleanliness tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
