• Responsible for efficiently running the tufting machine, checking face for defects, correcting defects, threading needles, and replacing yarn when needed.
• Mark and doff rolls produced and assist in changing the primary backing.
• Check rugs and yarn to match order.
• Maintain housekeeping and follow safety procedures.
• Repair minor machine malfunctions and assist with loading/unloading blade blocks.
• Meet production, quality, and safety targets set by management.
