The role involves performing DXA bone density scans under Radiologist supervision and operating related imaging equipment. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of radiologic technologist experience, an active Wisconsin radiographer license with ARRT radiography registration, and expects to maintain BLS/CPR certification.

Formación

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent credential.
• 3–5 years of radiologic technologist experience.
• Wisconsin radiographer licensure and ARRT Radiography registration.
• CBDT certification or NCCA CBDT accreditation within one year of hire.
• Current BLS/CPR certification from AHA or Red Cross (or able to obtain within 90 days).

Responsabilidades

• Perform bone densitometry procedures under supervision of a Radiologist.
• Operate department imaging equipment and ensure patient preparation and safety.
• Coordinate scheduling, record keeping and retrieval related to bone densitometry services.
• Administer medications as required and per policy.
• Receive verbal orders from licensed practitioners and document them accordingly.
