Savannah River Mission Completion (SRMC) is seeking a DWPF Vitrification Building Manager to oversee safe and efficient facility operations at the Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC. The role reports to the shift manager and requires leading operators, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company requirements.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of nuclear experience and possess the necessary education as outlined. The position includes a comprehensive benefits package and competitive pay range.

Competenze

• 3+ years Nuclear experience.
• Facility qualification process including training and oral board within one year.
• Deviations to education and/or experience requirements must follow DOE Order 426.2 protocols.

Mansioni

• Supervises operator activities and maintains supplies to support facility operations.
• Plans and coordinates work involving production and support groups.
• Reviews and approves lockout/tagout plans for hazardous energy control.
• Ensures activities comply with licenses and procedures; can shut down the facility if needed.
• Approves start of maintenance, operations, construction, test and surveillance activities.
• Ensures operators are trained and physically fit for their work.
• Maintains logs and records of operating events; accountability of special nuclear material.

Nuclear experience

Formazione

Bachelor's degree in a technical field

Associates degree in a technical field

BA/BS in a non-technical field

High School Diploma/GED with relevant experience
