Job summary

Eddy County, New Mexico is seeking a Community Wellness & Outreach Coordinator to lead prevention programs and education efforts. The role focuses on reducing DWI, binge drinking, and underage drinking through coordinated activities and community engagement.

This grant-funded position requires developing and implementing program activities, coordinating with the DWI School, and reporting outcomes to the DWI Program Manager. Starting pay ranges hourly and DOE.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating community programs and outreach activities.
• Familiarity with DWI prevention and alcohol-related harm prevention.
• Ability to work with grants and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement targeted program activities to prevent DWI and related harms.
• Facilitate the Carlsbad DWI School sessions and oversee the DWISE Victim Impact Program.
• Maintain Certification as a Prevention Specialist and update program data in the Management Data System.
• Attend monthly DWI Program Advisory Council meetings and report to the Program Manager.
