Job summary

NextGen | GTA: A Kelly Telecom Company seeks a Transport and Facilities Technician to ensure reliable transport hubs and facility infrastructure. Install, provision, maintain, and troubleshoot transport gear, dark fiber, and DWDM across hubs, data centers, collocation sites, and customer locations.

Collaborate with NOC and field teams to support new installs and outages. The role also covers power systems monitoring, preventative maintenance, and coordination with contractors to uphold safety

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree or coursework in telecommunications preferred.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in telecommunications facilities, network transport systems, switching environments, and fiber installations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot transport hubs and DWDM systems.
• Install, provision, and test transport equipment and fiber connections.
• Coordinate with NOC and field teams on outages and alarms.
• Monitor power systems and maintain facility upkeep.
• Interact with customers on new installations and service issues.

Education

Associate's degree or telecommunications coursework (preferred)
