Program Structure and Learning Experience

Editorial Placements (Approx. 9 months)

Trainees rotate through different editorial departments in Bonn and Berlin, gaining hands‑on experience in daily news production and multimedia content creation. Selected participants may also work at DW’s international correspondent offices in Washington, Brussels, Delhi, or Jakarta, allowing global exposure.

The final phase may include an optional internship with a partner broadcaster or another external media organization of the trainee’s choice.
