Position Purpose

Come extern with us! Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program provides 1st-4th year veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to help them become 'practice ready' from day one.

Externships typically last 2 weeks, with lodging covered if needed. The length of the externship is flexible, and we can support your preceptorship documentation.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary school
• Must be able to provide student PLIT
