Practice
Ham Lake Veterinary Hospital specializes in Preventive Medicine, General Medicine, and General Surgery. We are equipped with digital radiography, a full in-house lab, and reference laboratories for more involved testing. We enjoy serving the Ham Lake/East Bethel area and appreciate our quiet, country setting.
Our hospital was established in 2005 and has since grown to a team of over 20 veterinarians, technicians, and receptionists.
Position Purpose
Come extern with us! Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program aims to provide 1st-4th year veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to prepare them for practice.
Externships are typically 2 weeks long, and Heartland covers lodging costs if needed. The length of the externship is flexible, and we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.
Requirements/Qualifications
Eligibility:
Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary School.
Must be able to provide student PLIT.
