Thunderbird Veterinary Hospital in Norman, Oklahoma invites active AVMA-accredited veterinary students to join a hands-on externship program. This fast-paced, team-oriented clinic offers real-world experiences across small animal care, with mentorship and flexible scheduling.

Externals will benefit from paid externship hours, 1:1 guidance, and potential future employment opportunities as part of our commitment to student education and excellent patient care.

Thunderbird Veterinary Hospital is a well-established, progressive, fast-paced 2-3 doctor small animal/feline/exotics practice located in Norman, Oklahoma. We offer many services to provide the best comprehensive care to our patients including Preventative Care, Surgery, Urgent Care, High Speed Dentistry, Cold Laser Therapy, In-House Diagnostics, Digital radiology, Medical and/or Vacation Boarding and more.
