Job summary

Westside Veterinary Hospital invites veterinary students to join as externs in Mobile, Alabama. The program offers flexible scheduling, paid externship hours, and a path toward future employment.

You will work with a compassionate team and gain real-world experience through mentorship across wellness, dental care, surgery and urgent care services. Open to 1st–4th year AVMA-accredited students who are strong communicators and team players.

Qualifications

• Must be an Active Veterinary Student from an AVMA Accredited Institution.
• 1st through 4th Year Veterinary Students.
• Compassionate, Team Player and Strong Communicator.

Responsibilities

• Gaining real-world veterinary experience under supervision.
• Take part in mentorship and guidance sessions.
• Exposure to wellbeing, dental, surgery and urgent care activities as part of externship.
