Job summary

Southern Paws Animal Medical Center in Florence, SC invites 1st–4th year AVMA-accredited veterinary students to an externship designed to build real-world clinical skills under close mentorship.

Participants gain hands-on experience, flexible scheduling, paid externship hours, and potential future employment opportunities, with 1:1 mentorship and guidance throughout the rotation.

Qualifications

• Active AVMA-accredited veterinary student.
• Interest in hands-on externship experiences.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Externship for veterinary students in a clinical setting.
• Shadow clinicians and participate in case discussions.
• Develop practical skills in a supportive environment.
