Court of Cook County seeks a Full-Time Legal Advocacy professional to assist adult victims of domestic violence. The Advocate will provide crisis intervention, link clients to services, and coordinate with external agencies to support clients’ needs.

Strong documentation and follow-up are essential to service plans and outcomes. Responsibilities include intake, service plan development, and six months of follow-up post-service, with potential evening/weekend hours.

Competenze

• Education & Experience: A Bachelor Degree or degree in social service or related field.
• Language/Writing Skills: Must have excellent verbal skills and ability to write clearly.
• Reasoning Ability: Ability to read, analyze and interpret common reports and documents.
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 10lbs.

Mansioni

• Assist clients in the court setting in obtaining Orders of Protection.
