Job summary

Child & Family Service in Hawaii is seeking a Domestic Violence Specialist II-KONA (ATV) for 8 hours per week, based in Kealakekua. This position is temporary and non-exempt.

You will provide direct services to participants involved in domestic/family violence, with duties focused on high-risk cases and trauma-informed care. A four-year college degree and over two years of DV experience are required, plus the ability to travel island-wide with a valid Hawaii driver's license.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, psychology, counseling).
• Over two years of experience in domestic violence or a related target group.
• Experience with child abuse/neglect and substance abuse is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct services to participants involved in domestic/family violence as a high-risk population.
• Work with participants in trauma-informed ways and ensure safety planning.
• Engage with internal and external partners to coordinate services.
