Community Solutions, Inc. in Bridgeport, CT is seeking an Intervention Specialist to lead domestic violence groups within the AIC program and support additional interventions as needed.

The role involves facilitating evidence-informed sessions, coordinating with the team, and maintaining accurate client records in CSI and CSSD systems. You will participate in supervision, training, and quality assurance, ensuring adherence to curriculum and ethics while supporting clients toward positive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 1 year experience in domestic violence training and one year in experience in domestic violence group facilitation.
• Candidate must be bilingual (English/Spanish).
• One year experience in teaching, training and/or group facilitation preferred.
• Possess sound judgment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead for the domestic violence groups and assist with additional interventions as needed.
• Attend monthly domestic violence group clinical supervision.
• Train coworkers and supervisors after Train the Trainer Domestic Violence Curriculum training.
• Participate in Service Team Meetings and present new client assessments and cycles for placement.
• Enter new referrals into CDCS and SM following meetings.
• Prepare and facilitate individual and group sessions per curriculum; obtain director approval before deviations.
• Schedule and conduct make-up sessions as needed.
• Document sessions into CSI and CSSD data systems on the day received.
• Assist in developing and implementing Individual Service Plans.
• Meet or exceed goals for intervention completion; document sessions for court and program records.
