Job summary

Community Solutions Inc in Bridgeport seeks an Intervention Specialist to lead domestic violence groups at the AIC program and coordinate additional interventions as needed.

You will train coworkers in the Domestic Violence Curriculum, conduct assessments, and enter referrals into CSI and CSSD data systems with strict confidentiality. Bilingual English/Spanish is required; a Bachelor's degree with DV facilitation experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree plus 1 year experience in domestic violence training
• Candidate must be bilingual English/Spanish
• One year experience in teaching, training and/or group facilitation preferred
• Possess sound judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Lead domestic violence group sessions and train coworkers after Curriculum training
• Attend monthly clinical supervision for DV groups
• Enter referrals into CDCS, SM, CSI and CSSD data systems on the day received
• Prepare and facilitate individual and group sessions per curriculum/manual
• Maintain confidential client files and deliver reports to supervisors and courts as required
• Schedule and document all sessions and ensure quality assurance reviews are completed
