Job summary

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.

• Strong knowledge of statutory children's social care legislation and procedures.
• Experience supervising and supporting social workers is desirable.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred.

Responsibilities

Assistant Team Manager - Duty & Assessment Team Oxfordshire County Council | Children's Services Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Team Manager to join the Duty & Assessment Team at Oxfordshire County Council on a temporary ongoing contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior social worker or existing assistant team manager to join a fast-paced frontline service, supporting social workers with assessments, safeguarding interventions, and decision-making to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.

Role Details:

• Position: Assistant Team Manager
• Team: Duty & Assessment
• Location: Oxfordshire County Council
• Contract: Temporary ongoing
• Working Pattern: Full-time, Monday to Friday
• Hybrid Working: 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home
• Pay Rate: £42.00 per hour Umbrella, £32.91 per hour PAYE
