Dust Wipe & Paint Chip Inspector
About the Role

Exit Mold is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Dust Wipe & Paint Chip Inspector to join our field operations team. This is a field-based role responsible for traveling to job sites throughout the day, completing required inspections, collecting and handling samples, and maintaining accurate documentation.

The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and comfortable working independently while staying in close communication with the team. You should be able to manage a busy daily schedule, travel efficiently between multiple locations, and ensure that all samples and documentation are completed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel to approximately 7–10 assigned job sites per day
  • Complete required dust wipe and paint chip inspections in accordance with company procedures and applicable requirements
  • Properly collect, label, handle, and prepare laboratory samples
  • Document completed assignments on the shared tracking sheet promptly after each job
  • Communicate regularly with management regarding job status, completed assignments, and any issues that arise
  • Notify your manager immediately if access to a job site is unavailable before leaving the location
  • Contact your manager for additional assignments if all scheduled jobs are completed before the end of the workday
  • Deliver all laboratory samples to the designated FedEx location by approximately 5:00 PM to meet the daily shipping cutoff
  • Use personal, reliable transportation to travel between assigned job sites
  • Walk to job locations and navigate stairs when elevators are unavailable
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all required information is submitted in a timely manner
  • Follow all applicable company procedures, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements

A successful Dust Wipe & Paint Chip Inspector completes assigned jobs accurately, efficiently, and on schedule while maintaining consistent communication with the team. You take ownership of your daily route, carefully follow sampling and documentation procedures, and promptly communicate when access or scheduling issues arise.

You are someone who can be trusted to work independently, stay organized across multiple job sites, and ensure that every sample is properly handled and delivered on time.

Schedule

This is a full-time, field-based position with a typical schedule of approximately 9:00 AM–5:00 PM. Daily schedules may vary based on job locations, access, and workload.

All laboratory samples collected during the day must be delivered to the designated FedEx location in time for the daily shipping cutoff.
