Job summary

Dominium in Durham, NC, is seeking an Assistant Manager to support daily operations at Magnolia Pointe, a 266-unit community. You will assist the Community Manager, maintain occupancy, focus on resident relations, and collaborate with site staff.

The role requires 1–2 years of property management experience, familiarity with Section 8/42 or market rate programs, and Yardi software proficiency. Evening and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years previous property management experience preferred.
• Section 8, Section 42, and/or Market Rate experience preferred.
• Yardi software experience preferred.
• Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stable occupancy and meet budgeted financial goals.
• Build strong resident relations and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist the Community Manager to train, direct, motivate, and assist site personnel.
• Establish positive relationships within the community.
• Be on-call as scheduled by management.
