CNH Industrial in New Holland, PA is seeking a Stress & Fatigue Laboratory Intern to support validation of agricultural equipment through laboratory testing, instrumentation, and data analysis. You will work with engineers to collect data, execute durability tests, and communicate results that help improve reliability and design.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Agricultural, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Engineering Technology.
• Understanding of stress, strain, fatigue, and durability principles.
• Experience with sensors and instrumentation.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and mechanical systems is a plus.
• Experience with data acquisition systems (Dewesoft, eDAQ) preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist engineers with setup and execution of structural, durability, and fatigue tests.
• Install and verify instrumentation including strain gauges, load cells, pressure transducers, thermocouples, accelerometers, and displacement sensors.
• Support data collection using laboratory data acquisition systems.
• Analyze test results and prepare technical summaries, charts, and reports; assist with fixture design and lab setup.
• Support failure investigations and root cause analysis efforts.
• Maintain accurate test records, daily logs, and documentation.
• Collaborate with design engineering teams to support product validation activities.
• Follow CNH safety procedures and lab operating requirements.
• Travel to the field to collect data.
