Ponte Vedra Inn & Club in Florida seeks a Dune Attendant to welcome guests, take orders, and deliver attentive service in a beautiful oceanfront setting. This year-round, on-site role offers the chance to contribute to the resort experience and participate in five-diamond level service training.

The position emphasizes guest interaction, accurate payments, and teamwork across culinary, food & beverage, and resort staff. Flexible weekends and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in food & beverage, hospitality or customer service preferred.
• Friendly, professional and outgoing personality.
• Strong communication and guest-service skills.
• Ability to handle payments accurately and operate a POS system.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift supplies as required.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests warmly and provide attentive, professional service.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and serve menu items according to established standards.
• Process cash and credit-card transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked work area.
• Replenish food, beverages, condiments, utensils, and supplies as needed.
• Follow all food-safety, sanitation, and responsible-service procedures.
• Monitor product quality, freshness, and presentation.
• Assist with opening and closing responsibilities.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the Dune House and surrounding service area.
• Respond promptly to member and guest requests.
• Communicate effectively with culinary, food and beverage, and resort teams.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
