Job description

MTN Point Landworks is a trusted construction company specializing in site development, excavation, landscaping, and infrastructure projects. We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our growing team.

Work Schedule:

• Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Majority jobsites are within a 50-mile radius of our yard
• Steady work available through the winter

Equipment & Support:

• Fleet of 2021 and newer Kenworth T880 dump trucks
• On-staff full-time mechanic for maintenance and repairs

Responsibilities

• Safely operate dump trucks to transport materials (e.g., road base, gravel, sand, topsoil, boulders)
• Perform daily inspections for safety and mechanical issues
• Ensure accurate and timely deliveries to job sites
• Maintain electronic driving logs and delivery records
• Follow DOT regulations, safety guidelines, and company policies

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Minimum 2 years of dump truck driving experience in a construction or similar environment
• Clean driving record (last 3 years)
• Proficient with manual transmissions
• Familiarity with local roads and job site procedures
• Must be able to pass a drug test at any time

Preferred Skills

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Knowledge of local pits and various aggregate materials
