You will be a key part of a team building roads, bridges, and communities across the region while being home daily. This role offers a sign-on bonus, benefits, and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CDL Class B with manual transmission endorsement is required.
• CDL Class A CDL is preferred but not required.
• Current, valid DOT physical.
• Familiarity with safe operation of construction equipment.
• Knowledge of USDOT and FMCSA safety regulations.
• Ability to work overtime, nights, and weekends.
• Previous dump truck or construction driving experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a dump truck to transport asphalt, gravel, aggregate, and other materials.
• Follow routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery.
• Use fleet applications to receive dispatches and track deliveries.
• Complete DVIRs (Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports).
• Load and unload materials using truck hydraulics.
• Clean truck beds and perform basic maintenance as needed.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain cleanliness and condition of equipment.
• Comply with traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Communicate with supervisors, dispatchers, customers, and team members.

About the Role

We're hiring a Dump Truck Driver to safely transport materials such as asphalt, gravel, and aggregate from production facilities to jobsites. This role is essential to supporting construction operations by ensuring materials are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

What You'll Do

• Safely operate a dump truck to transport asphalt, gravel, aggregate, and other materials
• Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery
• Utilize company-approved fleet applications to receive dispatches, communicate with the logistics team, and track deliveries
• Complete electronic Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs)
• Load and unload materials using the truck's hydraulic system
• Use hand tools to clean truck beds when necessary
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain the cleanliness and overall condition of assigned equipment
• Comply with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatchers, customers, and team members

Physical Requirements

• Ability to safely access and navigate trucks and jobsites
• Ability to safely climb and descend ladders
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work outside normal business hours as operational needs require
• Ability to work in varying weather and jobsite conditions

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum Class B CDL with manual transmission endorsement required
• Class A CDL preferred
• Current, valid DOT physical
• Familiarity with the safe operation of construction equipment
• Knowledge of USDOT and FMCSA safety regulations
• Good judgment and attention to safety
• Ability to work overtime, nights, and weekends as business needs require
• Previous dump truck, construction, or commercial driving experience preferred
