Base pay range

$20.00/hr - $25.00/hr

Job Responsibilities

1. Deliver goods to customers in a timely fashion, meeting scheduled appointment times.
2. Load and unload cargo.
3. Communicate and coordinate with dispatchers.
4. Record cargo deliveries using daily worksheets and electronic tablets.
5. Refuel and clean the vehicle.
6. Report road incidents to the dispatcher promptly.
7. Follow traffic laws and inspect trucks, recording any issues.
8. Follow accident procedures and keep an activity log as required by FMCSA.
9. Report mechanical problems to maintenance using repair order sheets.
10. Plan routes using GPS, opting for the shortest practical routes, and seek approval for alternate routes if necessary.
11. Maintain a positive attitude with customers, treating everyone with respect and courtesy.
12. Keep the commercial driver license (CDL) up to date.

Qualifications

1. Class A CDL or commercial driver license.
2. Must pass drug and alcohol tests.
3. Must have a clean driving record and provide a current MVR.
4. Must provide a medical certificate.
